Loni Akers

Loni is a Native New Yorker, but was raised between New York and Puerto Rico. She is fluent in Spanish and English, and has an understanding of several other languages.

While growing up, Loni took dance lessons and played with the Orchestra in High School which led her to an interest in Theatre. She was involved with set design, costuming and makeup. She continued this interest in the Military after she enlisted with the Navy in 1980.

Loni joined the Revelers Guild, the Town Folk, with the Virginia Renaissance Faire in 1997, bringing with her the experience in costume design, singing, dancing and playing music. She continues with her Renaissance career as a Wench at the Maryland Renaissance Faire as a Member of the International Wenches Guild (Local 42).

Loni is enjoying her time with St. Georges Productions, after joining in late 2002. She feels that working with them has broadened her Acting knowledge.
