I, Philadelphia Carey, Lady Scrope, 10th Baroness Scrope of Bolton, daughter of Henry Carey,1st Baron of Hunsdon (son of Mary Boleyn) and Anne Morgan was born at Cannonrow in Westminster. I was raised in a combination of homes. I spent a large part of my life up on the Scottish borders. I have been told that living there you needed to be strong to survive. The other part of my childhood was spent at Court. I am a Lady-in-Waiting to Her Majesty. I enjoy my time at Court.

My marriage to Thomas Scrope was arranged by our fathers and Her Majesty was very pleased with the match. We have a son named Emanuel. We attend Her Majesty at her request.

There are rumors that my father is said to be son of King Henry VIII by my grandmother, Mary Boleyn. I do not believe these rumors. My Father is now Her Majesty’s Captain of the Gentlemen Pensioners.
