James M. "Doc" Amor
Jim has been a member of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire Blackfryars
Cast for six years. During those six years he has played roles as varied
as innkeeper, Privy Councilor, Yeoman, Keeper of the Royal Jewel House
John Ashley and Spy Master Sir Francis Walsingham.
The Renaissance has been an interest of his from early on when he spent his summers in Spain as a child. There he fell in love with the splendor of Renaissance Spain and developed a respect for King Philip II.
He has been attending
Renaissance faires since 1981, traveling to faires in NY, PA, MD,
OH, FL, and CO. In 1988, he married Patti in a Medieval Ceremony with
a
High Latin Mass. Both boys are involved in the Renaissance also.
Billy is a jousting knight with Noble Cause Productions and Jimmy has
been
a member of the PARF cast for all six years also.
