Patti Amor
Patti
has been a member of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire Blackfyrar Cast, and as one of the Assistant Blackfryar Directors. During her years, she has portrayed an innkeeper, a Spanish gyspy and a Lady-in-Waiting to Her Majesty. This past season she portrayed Lady Margaret Clifford, 4th Countess of Derby and Heiress Presumptive to the throne of England. On any give day when not attending her most gracious cousin, Queen Elizabeth, you can find her teaching "Peasant Dance" to the guests that come to visit our Shire of Mount Hope, upon the Chessboard with her wonderful Husband.
Patti became very interested in English and Scottish history as a young girl. In high school she expressed a desire to become a fashion designer. Life forced a detour, but fortunately as a member of the PARF for these past years, she has become a competent designer for fashion of the 16th Century.
Patti was introduced to Renaissance Faires by Jim and in 1988 they had a Medieval Wedding with a High Latin Mass.
She has visited and performed in faires in NY, PA, MD, VA, NC, FL, OH, WI, TX and CO.
Her sons, Billy and Jimmy, have been involved with faires also. Billy has jousted with Noble Cause Productions at faires around the country for the past 6 years. Jimmy added Faire Production to his resume and will be headed off to College in the fall for Theater tech.
