Hilda Brady

Hilda was born in Austria, and spent her youth traveling a great deal through Europe visiting historic sights in France, Germany and Austria. This brought out a great love for History. After settling in the United States, she was involved with the Drama Department in High School and enjoyed working on and off stage as an Actor and a Lighting Technician. After high school, she continued her love of art by taking commercial art and cartooning, and helped in a children's acting group with lighting, costumes, and stage props.

After raising her children, she continued her artistic career by becoming a Certified Framer and took classes in Art Restoration. Around this time, her son began acting in the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Mt. Hope, Pennsylvania. She quickly became enamored with the Time Period and began making her own garb and creating a character to play on her own. As a lover of history, she was compelled to make the costume as authentic as possible, and researched the Tudor and Elizabethan periods. It was at the Maryland
Renaissance Faire in Crownsville, Maryland that she came into contact with members of St. George Productions, and the rest, as they say, is history.
