Kari OstafinskiHaving dabbled in directing and stage management in high school, and in event production in college, Kari found herself drawn toward the more technical aspects of theatre. In the late 90’s, she began attending the Maryland Renaissance Festival quite regularly, and discovered she had a knack for creating Tudor and Elizabethan clothing. And greater than her passion for creating the garments was her love of dressing in them, which led her to encountering the members of St. George Productions. In 2006 she joined St. George, and was cast as a maid of honour to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. Kari works full-time for a DVD distribution company that specializes in British mystery and period dramas (which provide her with plenty of inspiration for her costume design). She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband Allan and their Italian Greyhound, Max.
