Michael Sanders

Michael has been involved in theater since 1974, both in High School and during his 14 years in the Army. His theatrical roles/activities have varied, from portraying characters in a number of military productions, to assisting in stage lighting, construction and props.

Michael joined the Guilde in the summer of 1997 at the Virginia Renaissance Faire in mid-run after only one week of preparation. He volunteered his military experience that he gained with the U.S. Army to assist in making the VRF Yeomen of the Guard one of the most praised Yeomen units seen at any Renaissance Faire.

He has co-authored the Yeoman Manual of Arms with Steve Heubusch, developed his sewing skills by making costumes, the Yeomen's Battle Standard and the Queen's Colors. He is currently maintaining this web site and working on additional banners and flags for the Guilde. His hobbies include computers and motorcycles.
