Some black and white drawings used in this document were found in The Yeomen of the Guard: 500 Years of History by Sir Julian Paget and were supplied to him by The British Library, Hennell, and Lawson. Other pictures were found in Tudor Costume and Fashion: 1485-1558 by Herbert Norris, found on "The Internet" or were created for a Manual of Arms written by Jacob de Gehyn in the 17th century and are assumed to have no copyright restrictions upon them.
Photographs of the VRF cast were provided by Sharon Marr, Doris Dubois and Lynn Peverell.
This document is based upon a collection of information as gathered by various members of the Virginia Renaissance Faire (VRF) and the Renaissance Entertainment Corporation (REC) before the Spring of 1997.
